Final!
Another picture for the portfolio project: the fate of the little dragon hunter and the moral of the story. 100% Photoshop. Total amount of work hours about 15-20. I don't really like the way the dragon turned out, but I just really didn't want to start over. :P

The pic has been scaled down so you can't make out all of the texts in the book... so for all you humanitarians out there, here's the recipe to prepare a knight just like grandma used to:

Knight: choosing right

1) Bigger is better
2) Stringy runners are best for stews
3) Nothing is tiresome than a talking prey - go for the slow quiet ones

Ingredients:

1 or more knights
onions
red pepper
garlic *
white toadstool
sugar
bell peppers
jalapeno peppers
ale **
beans
bat wings
any other meat

salt
black pepper
sage
chili
bloodroot
ivy
deadly nightshade
fairy wings
water

* not when entertaining vampires - makes them awful grumpy
** some considerate knights marinate themselves: if possible, use these fresh!

1) chop ingredients
2) put water in cauldron, boil
3) put everything else cauldron
4) boil for 5 hours
5) eat

(The little yellow note is a reminder to stock up on ale, fairy wings and toadstool)

Edit: the not a tutorial

Haha, great ingredients, sounds yummy :P

I love the idea of self marinating knights :giggle:

Great pic, the dragon looks very spiffy :)

Thanks! I'm tempted to try the recipe myself :giggle:

There's a distinct lack of Knights around these days though... you may have to use soya or quorn knight...

True... but there's still the occasional berseker, those can be used too. Mostly they come in a whiskey marinade, though. (Or vodka, if you're up in these parts.)
:iconkickmeiamadog:
In some places they can be soaked in tequila, it makes the flavour a little funky, but goes well with beef.

Okay, so in detail explain to me how you did this. Did you draw it all out in pen/pencil then scann it then color it in ps or what?

I WANT TO MAKE ART LIKE THIS!!!

*ROARS!*
