Tattoo designs

A friend of my sister's asked me to design a tattoo with an eagle, a Finnish witch-drum (shaman drum) and the zodiac animals of his three kids. I was like wow, that's a lot of things in one tattoo... o__o

But eventually, these are the two designs I made, and I'm interested to see which one he chooses. Personally, I'm not impressed nor happy with either, and especially the colouring really sucks. Hence to scraps.
